Terms of use
These terms apply when you play Glyphbound, in the Android app or in a browser at glyphbound.quest/play, or use this website. Glyphbound is made by Nikola Jankovic, Serbia. By playing you agree to them; if you do not agree, please do not play.
Playing the game
Glyphbound is free to play. You may play it for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment. Please do not copy, sell or redistribute the game or its puzzles, or try to break, overload or reverse-engineer it.
Ink and rewards
Ink, stars and other rewards exist only inside the game. They have no real-world value, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be transferred. They are stored on your device, so they are lost if you uninstall the game or clear its data. We may adjust how rewards are earned or spent to keep the game balanced.
Ads
The Android app offers optional rewarded videos from Google AdMob. Ads are provided by Google and its partners, not by us, and we are not responsible for their content or for the products they advertise.
Secret Messages
You are responsible for what you put in a Secret Message and who you send it to. Do not use it to send anything unlawful, hateful, harassing or that infringes someone else's rights, and do not put private information in it: anyone with the link can read the message. If you receive a Secret Message that is abusive, you can simply close it; it is not stored by us.
Content
The game, its puzzles, clues, artwork and code belong to Nikola Jankovic, except the Fredoka font, used under the SIL Open Font License. Puzzle phrases are original sayings, traditional proverbs and well-known facts; if you believe something in the game infringes your rights, contact us and we will look at it promptly.
No warranty
The game is provided "as is". We work to keep it fun and running, but we cannot promise it will always be available, error-free or that progress will never be lost. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from playing it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the game grows; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of Serbia. Questions: hello@glyphbound.quest.
